Brandon Takata is the Individual Giving Manager for the ACLU of Southern California. He joined the organization in 2024 and works with individual supporters of the organization.
Previously, Brandon had been the Associate Regional Director of Development for the University of California, Merced, where he focused on the initial regional engagement of alumni, university parents / family members and external supporters for philanthropic opportunities. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Director of Regional Engagement for the University of California, San Diego, connecting alumni in Los Angeles County back to UC San Diego through volunteerism, philanthropy and engaging in events, relaunching their regional program for the area.
