Coffee Break with ACLU SoCal: Economic Justice

May 7, 2020 @ 3:00 pm

We are all better off when we are all healthy. While most people can self-isolate at home, our elected leaders are giving many of our unhoused neighbors no choice but to live in mass shelters, where they face a high risk of infection and even death.

Join us on Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. PT for a conversation with ACLU SoCal staff, Eve Garrow, Homelessness Policy Analyst & Advocate, and Clarissa Woo-Hermosillo, Director of Economic Justice. Eve and Clarissa will provide an update about how local officials have responded to housing issues during this pandemic and what we can do as activists to help protect our unhoused neighbors.

Grab a cup of your favorite beverage and take a moment to chat with our staff and ask questions about our Economic Justice work.
