Press conference to include Los Alamitos and Huntington Beach Residents, ACLU Attorney, NDLON Organizer

HUNTINGTON BEACH — On behalf of Huntington Beach and Los Alamitos residents, workers, and community organizations, a notice of appeal was filed in the Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana late Monday challenging a ruling by a judge invalidating the California Values Act (SB54) as applied to the City of Huntington Beach. The parties are represented by the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU Foundation of Southern California, National Day Laborer Organizing Network, and the law firm of Latham & Watkins.
