Jun 30: Families Belong Together - Kern County

June 30, 2018 @ 10:00 am
July 1, 2018 @ 11:45 am

Join Kern County community members at the ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) office at 800 Truxtun Ave, then march to the Liberty Bell for a rally at 1415 Truxtun (corner of Truxtun and Chester). Immigration attorneys and community leaders will be making statements at the rally.

The recent executive order Donald Trump signed is not a solution to the crisis created by his administration; it keeps kids imprisoned indefinitely, and doesn't reunite thousands of separated families. It does show the administration is reacting to public pressure so we will continue to increase our pressure for justice on Saturday, June 30, to say that families belong together—and free.

As Americans, we have a responsibility to ensure that our country treats people with dignity and decency. Let your voice be heard.
