Pasadena/Foothills Chapter represents members from Altadena, Arcadia, Glendale, La Canada, La Crescenta, LA (Glassell Park, Mt. Washington, Highland Park, Eagle Rock), Monrovia, Montrose, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Sierra Madre. Our chapter has focused on economic and criminal justice issues in Pasadena, including advocacy for affordable housing and educational equity, watch dogging and policy advocacy on police shootings, use of force, citizen complaints, and stop and frisk practices.

The chapter advocates on legislation such as drug and sentencing reform and worked last year on ballot measures such as ending the death penalty. Our chapter also sponsors an annual garden party in the fall honoring activists who have contributed to safeguarding civil liberties.

Bimonthly public forums are held at Neighborhood Church, 301 N. Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena, 7 p.m.
