Rosas v. Baca is a lawsuit against Sheriff Leroy Baca for failing to take reasonable steps to stop the pattern of deputies’ beating inmates in Los Angeles County jails.

Roy v. Los Angeles County is a lawsuit against Los Angeles County and the L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca for denying bail on the basis of ICE holds, and for holding people in County Jail for more than 48 hours based on those ICE holds.

Valentini v. Shinseki is a class action lawsuit against VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and the director of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System for discriminating against homeless veterans.
