The ACLU of Southern CA Desert Chapter, representing Palm Springs and the greater Coachella Valley area, has approximately 850 members, served presently by a board of nine diverse and dedicated defenders of the constitution. The chapter’s Board seeks to educate, encourage and support members, and the goals of the ACLU, through active participation and involvement.

We are proud of the public forums we have coordinated, the scholarships we have awarded to local college bound students, and the local leadership role of the chapter in promote initiatives such as Proposition 34.
