Chapters and Clubs

The chapters and clubs of the ACLU SoCal are non-partisan, legal subdivisions of the ACLU SoCal affiliate and are directed by an all-volunteer board of directors elected by ACLU members residing in the chapter’s assigned region. Chapters/clubs have three main functions:

  • Local monitoring and advocacy;
  • Community education and visibility;
  • Participation in local, state and federal campaigns.
