The ACLU of Southern California seeks a third-year law student or recent law school graduate to sponsor for fellowship applications with the Soros Foundation and/or school-funded fellowships (whether general or project-based).
Applicants should email a cover letter, resume, writing sample and list of references, and should state in the subject line the particular area or areas of civil rights work in which they would like to work (e.g., “Fellowship/LGBT rights”). For project-based fellowships, preference may be given to those interested in LGBT rights, national security, police practices, reproductive justice or related issues.
